Senior Registered NurseLocation: Crowborough, East SussexEmployment Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekA leading private healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join their established inpatient ward team in Crowborough.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse with a background in orthopaedic or surgical care to take on a senior clinical role within a close-knit, high-performing team. You will act as a clinical role model, mentor and leader while supporting the Ward Manager and wider nursing team in delivering exceptional standards of patient care.The role involves shift-based working, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care throughout the patient journey, ensuring safe and effective clinical outcomes.Lead the clinical team on shift, managing workloads, delegation and prioritisation to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.Deputise for the Ward Manager when required and take responsibility for the smooth running of shifts.Support, supervise and mentor junior nurses and student nurses, creating a positive learning environment.Provide clinical support for patients with complex needs, including appropriate escalation and decision-making.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with professional and clinical standards.Contribute to clinical audits, incident reviews, quality improvement initiatives and the development of policies ..... full job details .....
