Senior Recycling Operative

Salary: -32,354.40 per annum plus Veolia benefits & Pension

Hours: Full time, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:40 to 17:10

Location: Tinsley, S9 5DL

What you will be doing;

• Assisting with managing the frontline operative duties
• Help ensure the timely destruction and recycling of incoming waste
• Carry out and manage general site cleaning and conduct daily site inspections
• Carry out stock checks
• Assist with Coordinating vehicle unloading
• Inspect incoming loads to ensure they comply with the relevant paperwork and site permit. (Training given)
• Arranging transport for the collection of waste

What we are looking for;

• People Management / Team Leading experience
• Experience in the waste industry would be an advantage
• Forklift licence would be desirable but training can be given if required
• Strong organisational and time management skills
