Hayward Hawk is seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to lead our high-performing Legal Recruitment division. This is a unique opportunity to step into a warm, high performing, established desk. The successful candidate will inherit an active, loyal client base and an established candidate network. With a steady flow of live roles there is an immediate opportunity to generate fees. This desk covers both legal support and qualified-level appointments, with long-standing relationships across NI’s leading law firms and in-house legal teams.The role

Manage and further develop an established legal recruitment desk (support and qualified appointments).Deliver and exceed personal billing targets through proactive client and candidate engagement and development.Develop and grow relationships with new and existing clients, maximising opportunities across the NI legal market.Provide consultative advice to clients and candidates on market trends, salary benchmarking, and recruitment processes.Contribute to the ongoing growth of the Legal team, with scope to move into a leadership role as the function expands into Dublin and beyond.The Person

Proven experience as a recruitment consultant, ideally with exposure to the legal or professional services sector.Consistent personal billing track record, with the drive to build on an already high-performing desk.Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to client and candidate management.Commercially motivated, target-driven, and ambitious to progress towards a ''Head of Legal'' position .What We Offer
