You will mainly deal with reinstatement cost assessments. The role will be office based 3 days per week. The Role Team Management and development responsibilities. Conduct thorough on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. Evaluate building layout, structures, materials, construction methods, and overall condition. Identify factors that may affect reinstatement costs, including age, specification, and any non-standard features. Calculate accurate reinstatement costs in accordance with RICS guidance, BCIS indices, and relevant industry standards. Apply appropriate cost indices and regional adjustments to ensure up-to-date and compliant valuations. Monitor cost fluctuations and construction market trends to maintain assessment accuracy. Produce clear, detailed, and professionally presented RCA reports within agreed SLA timeframes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, planning requirements, and relevant industry standards.
