Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Would you like to be part of Vital Energi''s 5-Year Strategy of Growth? If so, due to our continuing success, we are experiencing rapid and extensive growth across all business sectors and are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a successful background in construction and experience within the aviation industry. You will join our Commercial team, with a focus supporting airport contracts to be based in Scotland. You will support the financial management of contracts in partnership with the Contracts Managers and/or Project Managers. What You Will Be Doing Work in partnership with site management, providing commercial support as required to develop a proactive site team and ensure contractual obligations are identified and administered. Vet contract documentation upon receipt from the client to ensure compatibility with the Company''s tender submission and subsequent negotiations. Produce a Commercial Risk Register for each contract, monitoring risk and assisting in the implementation of agreed mitigation measures. Prepare and issue enquiries for major plant, equipment and subcontract packages. Commercially evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing and terms with vendors, and issue resultant purchase orders. Prepare and submit applications for payment and/or invoices, obtain payment certificates and progress client payments in accordance with contractual provisions.
