Senior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a strong pipeline of secured work across Bristol. This is a permanent role within a profitable, privately owned business delivering infrastructure, roads, bulk earthworks and groundworks packages for residential and commercial developments. The Role Full commercial responsibility for multiple projects Subcontract procurement and management Interim valuations and applications for payment Cost reporting and forecasting Variations and change control Final accounts Liaising with site teams and clients Requirements Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within civils or groundworks Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts Experience managing projects from start to final account Commercially astute and confident managing costs independently The Offer £60k £70k depending on experience Car allowance Stable, growing contractor Long-term career progression Strong order book of secured local work This role would suit a hands-on QS who enjoys responsibility and autonomy rather than being one of many in a tier-one structure.
