Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor located in Daventry. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management for construction projects, including cost estimation, contract administration, procurement, and risk management. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing and analysing budgets, managing project finances, authorising payments, conducting site visits, and liaising with clients and contractors to ensure project progression aligns with financial constraints and timelines.Qualifications
Proven experience in cost estimation, budget preparation, and financial management in construction projectsStrong contract administration and procurement negotiation skillsExpertise in risk management, cost control, and value engineeringExceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Office, construction cost estimation software)Ability to work effectively on-site and manage project timelinesBachelor\''s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications (RICS or equivalent)Experience in Industrial SHED buildingExperience in civil engineering and groundworks is beneficialSeniority level
