We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated

Senior Quantity Surveyor

to join our team, delivering a variety of general construction projects across

Preston, Liverpool, and the North West . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on diverse projects from inception through to completion.

Location:

Preston / Liverpool

Salary:

£65,000 - £70,000 + Package

Responsibilities

Take full commercial responsibility for multiple construction projects.

Manage cost planning, budgets, valuations, and financial forecasting.

Prepare and negotiate tenders, contracts, and sub-contract agreements.

Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability is maintained.

Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Lead and mentor junior members of the commercial team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor on general construction projects.

Strong understanding of contracts (JCT/NEC) and commercial processes.

Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Relevant qualifications (Degree / HNC in Quantity Surveying or related field).

Professional membership (RICS) desirable but not essential.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
