Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Reading Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + realistic OTE £100,000+ Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 Benefits: 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, company pension, annual bonus and additional company benefits Our client is a well-established specialist groundwork contractor based in Berkshire, delivering groundworks, reinforced concrete structures, basements, drainage and civil engineering solutions across a range of commercial and residential projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial management of projects and play a key role in ensuring they are delivered efficiently, profitably and within budget. Senior Quantity Surveyor - Position Overview Manage all commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account. Prepare, review and negotiate contracts and subcontracts. Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and cash flow to maintain strong financial control. Prepare and manage valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Manage variations, claims, risks and commercial opportunities throughout project delivery. Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation and account management. Prepare monthly CVRs and provide accurate commercial reporting to senior management. Provide commercial advice and support to project managers, site teams and senior management.
