Projects range from minor £2m schemes up to £20m major works contracts. The role: We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in main contracting with proven experience in managing the commercial delivery of design and build projects. Working with site based project teams, your responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor may include: Managing the commercial aspects of 2 smaller schemes (up to £5m in value) and a single larger scheme. Supporting the pre-construction team in preparing tender documents, contracts and procurement schedules to support driving PCSA activities. Full management of accounts from procurement through to final accounting. Assessing subcontractor progress and budget compliance. Undertaking valuations and client variations Producing accurate internal and external financial reports, forecasts and liabilities Supervising, supporting and mentoring junior team members Identifying opportunities to maximise value and reduce costs Highlighting risks and developing mitigation strategies Advising on contractual claims and disputes ..... full job details .....
