About the Role

This full time position as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Bristol offers a salary between £63000 and £68000, plus a car and additional benefits. Working with RGB Recruitment, the successful candidate will join a Tier 1 contractor’s commercial team, handling major highways and civil engineering schemes throughout the South West. Duties include cost management, forecasting, subcontractor oversight, change control and contractual issues. Applicants must possess quantity surveying experience within civil engineering or infrastructure, alongside strong practical knowledge of NEC contracts, which is essential. The role promises a substantial regional workload with long-term progression prospects.

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR | BRISTOL I'm recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major highways and civil engineering projects across Bristol and the South West.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial team with a strong regional workload and long-term opportunities for progression.
You'll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects and packages, working closely with operational teams across cost management, forecasting, subcontractor management, change and contractual matters.
What we're looking for:

▪️ Quantity Surveying experience within civil engineering or infrastructure
▪️ Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts – essential
▪️ Experience managing subcontractors and commercial reporting
▪️ Strong commercial and contractual awareness
▪️ Senior Quantity Surveyors or experienced QSs ready to progress into a senior position
Experience could come from highways, infrastructure, water, utilities, rail, earthworks or wider civil engineering.
