Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

We are working with a Tier 1 national contractor who need an experienced Senior QS to join and initially help on a range of new schemes in Southampton, Reading, Oxford and Newbury.Role and Responsibilities

Work with the design and delivery teams to ensure the scheme is delivered on time and to budget for a client who may place 2 or 3 more schemes on a negotiated format following a successful engagement.Work alongside and manage a Project and Assistant level QS on site and have overview and responsibility for the commercial health of the projects including managing sub contract packages, procurement of materials and plant, remeasure, valuations, payments, managing variation accounts, forecasting, CVRs, etc.Project Context

All the schemes have been procured and won on either a negotiated basis or frameworks and are a mix of local authority, commercial, mixed-use, student and education sectors, with contract values in excess of £40 million.Rewards and Location
