This role can be tailored for either a competent QS looking to step up or an established Senior QS to take commercial ownership across major heavy earthworks, highways, and infrastructure schemes. The Role Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will manage the commercial health of key civil engineering packages from inception through to final accounts. Your day-to-day will involve: Contract Administration: Managing standard forms of civil engineering contracts (predominantly NEC3/NEC4), overseeing early warnings, compensation events, and variations. Cost Control & Forecasting: Preparing monthly CVRs, cash flow forecasts, cost-to-complete reports, and commercial reconciliations. Subcontractor Management: Procuring specialist supply chain partners, assessing monthly payment applications, and issuing formal payment notices.
