Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity - KentAn established contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to act as the sole commercial job runner for a major, multi-phase residential scheme in East Kent. Valued at 75m+ with over 400 units, this long-term project offers total commercial ownership and clear career progression.You will take complete financial control of the development while managing and developing an onsite team (currently a QS and an Assistant QS), with scope to expand the team as future phases progress.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as sole commercial lead on a multi-million-pound residential development.Line-manage, mentor, and delegate to an onsite commercial team (QS and AQS).Oversee full-life cycle financial management, including procurement, subcontract management, monthly CVRs, cash flow forecasting, and final accounts.Drive commercial strategy, value engineering, and risk management to protect profit margins.Act as the primary commercial point of contact for senior leadership and project stakeholders.RequirementsProven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor capable of running substantial schemes independently.Background working with a Main Contractor or a Residential Developer on multi-unit resi developments.Demonstrated line-management capability with experience developing junior and mid-level commercial staff.Deep understanding of full-life cycle contract administration and procurement.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality. ..... full job details .....
