As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll take the commercial lead on our Responsive Maintenance operations, covering reactive repairs and voids across the North East. You''ll manage all aspects of cost control, forecasting, and reporting, while also supporting and developing a small team of Quantity Surveyors. If you have a strong background in responsive repairs and commercial management, this is your opportunity to play a key role in shaping the success of a major regional contract.Description Oversee commercial management for responsive repairs and voids worksPrepare and manage cost plans, valuations, and final accountsLead procurement and subcontractor management processesProvide monthly cost value reports and financial forecastingAdminister payments, variations, and change ordersMentor and guide junior QS team membersEngage with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery Profile Proven background in responsive repairs within Social HousingExperience managing or mentoring junior QS team members (desirable)Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and WordCapable of planning and prioritising a busy workloadA team player with a proactive and enthusiastic attitudeHighly organised and ..... full job details .....
