They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for delivering work that''s driven by excellence as well as doing the right thing. They are seeking a personable, ambitious, enthusiastic, and energetic Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Cost and Commercial Practice in the North East, to support their continuing growth within the local market. As senior member of the team, you''ll work closely with the delivery team to ensure commercial targets are met, risks are managed, and project controls are maintained. You will be working on a variety of education, commercial, defence, industrial, retail, projects to name only a few, primarily in the North East but also the wider UK.Your new role We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Quantity Surveyor with Pre- and Post-Contract experience. Collaboration - Working in the client team and liaising with leadership, project managers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships. Cost Management - Estimate, monitor and control project costs both pre and post contract, to ensure the project is delivered within budget. Validate and manage contractor and supplier costs and payments. Reporting - Provide regular financial reports to ensure our clients have confidence in their project outcomes.
