Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a main contractor undertaking a large project near Gloucester. We are looking to recruit an established Freelance Quantity Surveyor to look after the commercial function of a project.Your Day-To-Day Duties: Managing allocated subcontract packages from procurement through to final accountReviewing and agreeing subcontractor valuations and applications for paymentPricing and managing variations, changes and additional worksPreparing cost-to-complete forecasts and accurate monthly accrualsUndertaking cost analysis and comparisons for subcontract packagesMonitoring package performance, costs and expected profitabilityManaging subcontractor relationships and commercial issuesReporting commercial progress and key issues to the Commercial ManagerThe RequirementsRelevant degree qualification in Quantity SurveyingSelf-motivated and an ability to work aloneAbility to take initiative in resolving problems.Previous surveying responsibilitiesAbility to us MS ExcelSalary and PackageThe rate on offer is negotiable, dependent on an individuals experience.
