Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is an award winning national main contractor with operations across the UK. They work across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, industrial and mix-use developments. They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Midlands division.The Role The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work across the East of England, with a particular focus on high-value schemes in the East Midlands, covering projects from Leicestershire through to Lincolnshire.Key Responsibilities:Take full on-site commercial responsibility for the project, ensuring effective cost control and financial management throughout the construction lifecycleManage and administer contracts in accordance with NEC and JCT forms, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and entitlementsOversee the preparation, submission, and agreement of interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accountsLead the management of change control processes, including the identification, assessment, and negotiation of variations, compensation events, and claimsMonitor project costs against budget, providing accurate forecasting, cash flow analysis, and regular financial reporting to senior stakeholdersDevelop and implement procurement strategies, including the tendering, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors and suppliersManage subcontractor accounts, including payment assessments, performance monitoring, and final account agreementsIdentify commercial risks ..... full job details .....
