Our client is an award winning national main contractor with operations across the UK. They work across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, industrial and mix-use developments. They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their North West division.The Role The Senior Quantity Surveyor will join an established and high-performing commercial team, taking a leading role in overseeing all commercial aspects of a flagship 90m high-rise residential development in the heart of Manchester. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a landmark scheme, ensuring robust cost control, effective contract management, and the successful financial delivery of a complex, high-profile project.Key Responsibilities:Take full on-site commercial responsibility for the project, ensuring effective cost control and financial management throughout the construction lifecycleManage and administer contracts in accordance with NEC and JCT forms, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and entitlementsOversee the preparation, submission, and agreement of interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accountsLead the management of change control processes, including the identification, assessment, and negotiation of variations, compensation events, and claimsMonitor project costs against budget, providing accurate forecasting, cash flow analysis, and regular financial reporting to senior stakeholdersDevelop and implement ..... full job details .....
