We are looking to recruit an established Freelance Quantity Surveyor to look after the commercial function of a project. Your Day-To-Day Duties: Managing allocated subcontract packages from procurement through to final account Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor valuations and applications for payment Pricing and managing variations, changes and additional works Preparing cost-to-complete forecasts and accurate monthly accruals Undertaking cost analysis and comparisons for subcontract packages Monitoring package performance, costs and expected profitability Managing subcontractor relationships and commercial issues Reporting commercial progress and key issues to the Commercial Manager The Requirements Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying Self-motivated and an ability to work alone Ability to take initiative in resolving problems.
