Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a main contractor undertaking a large project near Gloucester. We are looking to recruit an established Freelance Quantity Surveyor to look after the commercial function of a project.

Your Day-To-Day Duties:

• Managing allocated subcontract packages from procurement through to final account
• Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor valuations and applications for payment
• Pricing and managing variations, changes and additional works
• Preparing cost-to-complete forecasts and accurate monthly accruals
• Undertaking cost analysis and comparisons for subcontract packages
• Monitoring package performance, costs and expected profitability
• Managing subcontractor relationships and commercial issues
• Reporting commercial progress and key issues to the Commercial Manager

The Requirements

• Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Self-motivated and an ability to work alone
• Ability to take initiative in resolving problems.
• Previous surveying responsibilities
• Ability to us MS Excel

Salary & Package

The rate on offer is negotiable, dependent on an individuals experience. The rate will be paid Limited Company.
