Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (PQS)Location: WarringtonSalary: £40,000-£55,000 + additional benefits including flexible working hours.Seeking someone actively working towards their MRICS chartership.Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a role within a business that emphasizes building its culture and business? The CompanyA leading SME design and construction consultancy in Warrington, expanding their team by hiring a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside MRICS qualified professionals who can mentor and develop your skills.
They hold multiple accreditations: RICS, RIBA, CIAT, with offices across the North UK, employing around 60 staff. You will work within a multidisciplinary team on major projects such as hotel developments, industrial sheds, education, retail, and leisure facilities.
Their office is a Grade A, award-winning space in Warrington, offering a high-end environment that the team appreciates. Duties include:
Engaging in client meetings, collaborating with professional teams, and overseeing project execution.
Assessing financial aspects and providing guidance on solutions.
Supporting senior staff with contractual agreements and project conditions.
Managing cost factors related to construction techniques, materials, project scale, and quality.
Preparing tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities.
Ensuring compliance with policies and quality standards across project phases.
Role Requirements
Experience managing design and build projects, ideally within a consultancy, with a good mix of pre and post contract work. Strong work ethic and ability to work in an office environment five days a week. Supportive environment for learning and development is essential.
