Senior Quantity Surveyor - BuildingLocation: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Building team, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across West Yorkshire, the North West and UK wideThe role will focus particularly on fast-track healthcare and education projects and works within occupied buildings, with project values typically ranging from 500k to 5m.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Quantity Surveyor to take significant ownership of project performance, working closely with operational teams, clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure projects are delivered successfully from procurement through to final account.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full responsibility for the commercial management of projects valued between 500k and 5mManage projects through the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement through to final accountWork across fast-track healthcare projects and occupied buildings, managing the additional commercial and logistical challenges these environments presentManage cost control, forecasting, reporting, valuations, and final accountsLead subcontract procurement, tender analysis, negotiation, and contract administrationPrepare and manage applications for payment, variations, compensation events, and claimsMonitor project performance against budgets, forecasts, and commercial targetsIdentify commercial risks ..... full job details .....
