Pinnacle are looking to speak to Senior Quantity Surveyors, with a strong background in rail infrastructure, specifically across civil engineering and signalling projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to support high-profile rail programmes, ensuring robust cost control, contract management, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercial and contractual aspects of rail projects, from pre-contract through to final account
  • Prepare, review, and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Administer contracts (e.g. NEC forms) including compensation events and variations
  • Conduct value engineering and cost optimisation exercises
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts
  • Provide accurate and timely commercial reporting
  • Support project teams in risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior QS within the rail sector
  • Strong background in civil engineering and signalling projects
  • Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 preferred)

Pay is -400- -450 (DOE) per day outside IR35.
