Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major civil engineering project in Edinburgh on a 9-month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure scheme and play a key role in its commercial management and delivery. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final accounts Administer and manage contracts in line with NEC3/NEC4 conditions Prepare and manage cost forecasts, valuations, and cash flow Handle compensation events, change control, and subcontractor management Liaise closely with site teams, the client, and key stakeholders Ensure robust document control and reporting procedures Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale civil engineering projects Strong working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contract suites (essential) Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline Able to work on-site in Edinburgh as required ..... full job details .....
