Senior Quantity Surveyor

OCS are currently working with a highly respected construction business that has been established for over 30 years and has built an excellent reputation across the groundworks, civil engineering and reinforced concrete frame sectors. With a strong pipeline of secured projects and continued expansion, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who can take ownership of projects and play a key role in their continued growth.The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for your projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the operational and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully and profitably. Managing the commercial performance of projects from start through to completion Subcontract procurement, tendering and negotiation Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management Preparing and reviewing valuations, applications and payment notices Managing variations, change control and contractual notices Subcontractor account management Reviewing project costs and identifying commercial opportunities Cost/value reconciliation and monthly reporting Supporting project teams with commercial and contractual advice Final accounts and commercial close-out Working closely with senior management on project strategy and commercial performance Supporting the continued growth and development of the commercial team Ideally, you will have: ..... full job details .....
