Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking to strengthen our Commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor based at Testwood with hybrid working available. You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and you will be expected to take responsibility for the Commercial Management of Project(s).Responsibilities

Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packagesLiaise with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control costCollaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are metManage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessaryPreparation and issue of subcontract documentationAssist in the management and performance of subcontractorsManage the preparation and agreement of applications for paymentThe preparation of project cost and value reports, budgets and forecastsAssist in the management and development of junior commercial staffEnsure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovationsMaintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedbackUndertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this roleIn all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department and MWH Treatment as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationshipsTake all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate ..... full job details .....
