They have excellent relationships with their clients that means they enjoy a good proportion of repeat business and they are also members of key public sector, procurement frameworks that have traditionally generated good quality work. Their focus is now to continue to grow their public sector workload (schools, public buildings, healthcare schemes typically) and to do this they'd like to appoint some key members of staff to deliver the work. They are in the fortunate position of having a good proportion of their turnover secured for 2026-27 so can be very choosey about the work they take on and the margin they make has been going up year on year. The Role: They are now in a position to add a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to their small Commercial team. Their work is always based within 30 miles of their head office and your time will be largely spent in the office with site visits when required.
