Senior Quantity Surveyor Water and Infrastructure Location: North LondonSalary: £60,000 £75,000 + benefitsEmployment Type: PermanentHours: 42.5 hours per weekThe Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join Barhale, a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor.This is a North London-based opportunity for a commercially experienced QS who has worked on water, utilities or infrastructure projects.You will be responsible for managing the commercial performance of projects, working closely with project teams, clients and subcontractors.What We''re Looking For We''re particularly interested in candidates with: Experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure. Strong experience working on water, wastewater, utilities or infrastructure projects. Experience managing projects around £1m £5m in value. Strong knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts. Experience with Target Cost contracts. Strong commercial and cost-control experience. Experience preparing and managing CVRs, forecasts and cost reports. Experience with cash flow and financial reporting. Experience managing subcontract procurement and subcontractor accounts. Experience with valuations, payments, accruals and final accounts. Good understanding of commercial and contractual risk. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
