The role is responsible for managing cost plan development and maintenance, providing technical cost, contractual and commercial support to assigned Programme Managers and Project Managers from project inception through to completion. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will typically lead projects valued in excess of £10m and may support a Commercial Manager on larger projects exceeding £100m. Principal Accountabilities Develop and maintain project cost plans and estimates to support governance and procurement processes, including the Risk Drawdown process. Manage project budgets, ensuring value for money and validating costs through appropriate internal and external benchmarking. Assess contractor payment applications in accordance with contract requirements.
