Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a prominent name in the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a year-long infrastructure and highways scheme Suffolk (Ipswich main office). This position is designed for someone with significant experience in the field, looking for a permanent role with a reputable company.Key Responsibilities:Managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projectsConducting cost analysis, monitoring project expenditure, and mitigating risksLiaising with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project deliveryPreparing and analysing costing for tendersOverseeing the financial progress of projects and preparing monthly reportsHandling procurement strategies and managing sub-contract ordersEnsuring compliance with contract conditions and company proceduresProviding advice on contractual claims and disputesJob Requirements:Extensive experience in quantity surveying, preferably with a focus on infrastructure and highwaysStrong understanding of NEC3 contracts and their applicationExcellent analytical and numerical skillsProficiency in cost estimating and budgeting techniquesAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and negotiation skillsProven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamRelevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldBenefits:Competitive salary packageOpportunity to ..... full job details .....
