Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading consultancy in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a contract position on a major highways project near Newton Abbot.

• Managing cost control, financial reporting, and commercial performance of the project
• Conducting cost analysis and preparing tender and contract documents
• Overseeing the measurement and valuation of works
• Providing support in contract administration under NEC option B and C
• Collaborating with project managers and site teams to ensure project success
• Implementing best practice procedures for efficient cost management
• Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

• Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Experience in NEC option B and C contract administration
• Proven expertise in cost control and financial reporting within highways projects
• Detailed understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
