Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our Water and Utilities client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering water mains renewal and infrastructure projects across the Thames Water network on a permanent basis out of Maple Cross offices (Rickmansworth) This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional to play a key role in the successful delivery of essential water infrastructure projects throughout London and the surrounding areas. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance across a portfolio of capital works projects, ensuring robust cost management, accurate forecasting, effective contract administration, and proactive risk management. Working closely with operational teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you will help maximise value while supporting the successful delivery of projects safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities Lead the commercial and cost management of water mains renewal projects across the Thames Water framework.Manage project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow.Provide commercial and contractual support to operational teams.Administer and manage NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.Identify opportunities to improve project profitability and commercial performance.Prepare and review valuations, applications for payment, compensation events, and final accounts.Monitor project costs and manage change control processes.Build and maintain ..... full job details .....
