Senior Quantity Surveyor

This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is a great opportunity to lead the full spectrum of commercial and quantity surveying activities on utilities and infrastructure projects for a growing contractor. You will report to the Senior Leadership, and be a key person with autonomy for QS and commercial manager activities, professional judgement and data-driven decision making. The Senior Quantity Surveyor role: Will take ownership of the end-to-end commercial management of energy construction projects, from initial cost planning through to final account. You will provide robust financial oversight, ensure contractual compliance, and drive value for both the business and its clients. Your work will underpin key commercial decisions, mitigate risk, and safeguard margins while supporting project teams with accurate, timely financial information. Key Responsibilities: The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead detailed cost estimation and budgeting for projects at feasibility, design, and pre-construction stages Prepare, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant forms of contract and commercial terms Oversee procurement and tendering processes, including preparation of tender documentation, evaluation of bids, and recommendations Implement and maintain rigorous cost control measures throughout, identifying variances and corrective actions Drive value engineering activities, challenging designs and specifications to optimise cost without compromising quality or ..... full job details .....
