Senior Quantity Surveyor

We''re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water Framework team based in Mogden STW. Location: Mogden STW, TwickenhamHours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll take a leading role in the commercial management of a major Water Treatment Works upgrade project. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in achieving project commercial objectives and financial performance. Your day to day will include: Leading commercial management of project sections, subcontract packages and supplier accounts from procurement to final account settlement Preparing and managing valuations, applications for payment, monthly cost forecasts and cashflow reports Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented Managing change control processes and ensuring variations and contractual entitlements are agreed in a timely manner Mentoring and developing junior team members, promoting high standards of commercial management and professional development What ..... full job details .....
