Senior Quantity Surveyor

We''re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places - Building Solutions team based in London. Location: LondonHours: 40 hours a week 08:30 - 17:00 We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll play a key role in managing the commercial resources of construction projects, working on exciting refurbishment and re-cladding projects valued between £5m - £15m. You''ll be part of a collaborative team that''s committed to delivering high-quality projects for strategic clients across London, making a positive difference to communities every day. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in maximising project profitability and managing commercial relationships. Your day to day will include: Managing commercial resources and maximising planned gross margin through careful placement and control of contracts Tendering, evaluating and appointing subcontractors, and placing orders for materials and plant Identifying, negotiating and agreeing project variations with customers and suppliers Measuring, valuing and agreeing work progress to support invoicing and payment processes Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain What are we looking for?
