Senior Quantity Surveyor

We''re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our East West Rail team based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be supporting all the commercial aspects of the East West Rail project. Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire - hybrid workingHours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to usWe are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be responsible for cost control, maximising value, minimising future liabilities, and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety. Your day to day will include: Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin through contract placement and control Leading, managing and mentoring junior members of the commercial team Producing and submitting valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and contract performance data Assessing, reviewing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks Maximising cash flow through control, measurement and valuation of work Valuing work executed by sub-contractors and certifying interim and final payments Developing strong relationships with clients, supply chain and stakeholders What are we looking for?
