Senior Quantity Surveyor

We''re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places - Building Solutions team based in Sheffield. Location: SheffieldHours: 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll play a vital role in managing the commercial aspects of our projects, working collaboratively with our teams to deliver high-quality building solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse refurbishment and building safety projects, typically ranging from £5m to £15m, where your expertise will help maximise project value whilst supporting excellent client relationships. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be working within the Building Solutions team, supporting them in delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Your day to day will include: Managing commercial resources and maximising project margins through careful contract placement and control Tendering, evaluating, and appointing subcontractors, consultants, and placing orders for materials and plant Identifying, negotiating, and agreeing project variations with customers and suppliers Measuring, valuing, and agreeing work progress to support invoicing and payment processes Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and the supply chain What are we looking for?
