Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full management of project costs across modular and civils projects — from tender through to final accounts — working closely with Project Managers to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Responsibilities
Lead cost planning, estimating, and forecasting for projectsPrepare, negotiate, and analyse contracts, claims, and tendersManage budgets, financial reports, and cost control measuresOversee subcontractor payments and settlementsProvide commercial advice and support to Project Managers and DirectorsConduct risk and value managementFinalise cost/value accounts and settlementsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related disciplineMinimum 5 years’ QS experience, with at least 2 years in a senior roleStrong negotiation and financial management skillsExcellent knowledge of NEC, JCT, and other construction contractsProficiency in cost management softwareStrong leadership, client-facing, and communication abilitiesFull driver’s licence (travel required across UK and Ireland)Benefits
