OverviewWe\''re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Natural Resources Team working on our Thames Water framework for projects in Oxfordshire. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you\''ll be working within the commercial team on a Water Framework with Thames Water, supporting them in the commercial management of the project at construction phase. This role will be involved in the ECI stage through to build and handover so you can see a project from conception to operational.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the project\''s procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
Manage valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records.
Preparation of monthly cost / value reports for projects, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members.
Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor administration.
Drive commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximizing opportunities.
Qualifications
A relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree.
You hold a full UK Driving License.
Prior experience working in a commercial role for a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure.
Experience with a variety of contract forms.
