We are hiring for our client, a well-established construction / manufacturing business, seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to oversee all contractual and financial aspects of new and ongoing projects. This is a pivotal role offering scope to shape commercial strategy, lead a dedicated team, and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

The Role

Review incoming contracts/subcontracts, assessing risk and liabilities.

Lead a team delivering end-to-end contract management: estimating, procurement, valuations, invoicing and final account recovery.

Oversee cost control, reporting and dispute resolution.

Manage procurement of services, labour and materials, appointing subcontractors.

Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to maintain service levels.

Ensure projects meet deadlines and comply with IMS standards.

Provide accurate finished goods reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Person

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

Proven experience with JCT and NEC contracts.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Confident communicator with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

Full UK driving licence and ability to travel one day per week.
