Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new companyA leading contractor operating within the UK energy and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major programme of works.The business is looking for an experienced commercial professional who can provide leadership, drive commercial performance, and support the development of a growing team.Your new roleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial delivery of a significant project within the energy sector, operating under NEC contracts.This is a leadership-focused role where you will be expected to hit the ground running, manage key commercial functions, mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, and work closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.You will be responsible for:Leading commercial activities across a major energy infrastructure project.Managing NEC contract administration, compensation events, and change control.Producing cost reports, forecasts, CVRs, and financial reporting.Managing subcontractor accounts and final accounts.Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation measures.Mentoring and supporting a team of four Quantity Surveyors.Driving commercial best practice and performance across the project.Resolving complex commercial and contractual issues.What you''ll need to succeedProven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Managing Quantity Surveyor, or Commercial Lead within energy, ..... full job details .....
