| Location: Manchester | Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Car/Allowance and Full PackageWe''re recruiting on behalf of a growing main contractor who specialise in complex building structures across both the infrastructure and building sectors. With a newly secured 2-year contract to deliver multiple structures as part of a major highways project in the North West, they are now seeking a talented Senior QS to join their team.This is an excellent opportunity to take on a site-based role, lead a small commercial team, and play a key part in the continued growth of the business in the region.Responsibilities

Lead the commercial management of a package of structures on a major highways projectOversee change control, valuations, cost forecasting, and final accountsManage subcontractor procurement, payments, and performanceEnsure compliance with contractual and commercial requirementsProvide regular financial reports to the commercial manager and project leadDevelop and mentor junior commercial team membersBuild strong relationships with client representatives, supply chain, and internal teamsAbout you

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large infrastructure or major building projectsStrong knowledge of contract management (NEC experience preferred)Previous experience of working on highways or civil engineering structures projects is highly desirableExcellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsAbility to work autonomously while guiding and developing junior staffDegree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualificationWhat’s on offer?
