As the commercial team grows to meet the framework''s workload, they are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take genuine ownership of a portfolio of live civil engineering schemes across South Wales.The roleReporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for multiple wastewater capital schemes from procurement through to final account. You will also have a supporting role in mentoring junior surveyors as the team develops.Day-to-day, you can expect to be working across:Commercial management of treatment works upgrades, network improvements and associated civilsSubcontract procurement, negotiation and administrationCompensation event management under NEC Options A and CCVR and cost forecasting, with direct reporting to senior managementRisk and opportunity management across the frameworkSupporting and mentoring Project and Assistant Quantity SurveyorsAbout the frameworkThe programme covers a mix of treatment works, network infrastructure and associated civils for a major water utility client. Schemes vary in scale and complexity, providing broad exposure and genuine technical variety.
