Senior Quantity Surveyor - High Voltage Overhead Line Project Scotland Elgin / Inverness / Central Belt 60,000- 84,000 + Car / Allowance + BenefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK''s leading infrastructure contractors delivering a complex and high value infrastructure project in Scotland.Valued at more than 2bn over the next 7 years, the project aims to improve the resilience of the regions power supply and forms part of a much larger, wider investment in Scotland''s electricity transmission network. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll take responsibility for the commercial management of a significant section of the project, working closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and wider delivery team.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of your package of works.Cost reporting, forecasting and management of project budgets.Subcontract procurement, administration and account management.Managing applications, valuations, payments and final accounts.Identifying and managing change, variations and compensation events.Supporting CVR and financial reporting processes.Managing commercial risk and opportunities.Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial performance is maintained.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the client, subcontractors and supply chain.
