Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Infrastructure Project Grays, Essex 55,000 to 65,000 + 4,000 car allowance/company car + packageI''m working with a major UK infrastructure contractor who are looking for a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their site based delivery team on a 1bn infrastructure project in the South East.The scheme includes nearly 20km of complex highways construction, new bridges and viaducts, major utility diversions and some of the most significant infrastructure work currently taking place in the UK.This is a delivery-focused commercial role, working closely with construction teams, subcontractors and the client across a large number of high value packages of work.The role will involve:Leading the day-to-day commercial management of large packages of workAdministration of NEC target cost contractsManaging defined/disallowed cost, compensation events and pain/gain mechanismsCost forecasting, CVRs and commercial reportingOwning change control, early warnings and compensation eventsManaging subcontractor accounts, payments, variations and final accountsWorking with delivery and design teams to manage commercial risk and utility interfaces You''ll need:Strong highways, civils or major infrastructure experience on UK based projectsSolid NEC experience, ideally within target-cost environmentsStrong understanding of change, risk and cost managementA degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity SurveyingRICS, CIOB or ICES membership, or working towards ..... full job details .....
