Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor Water Location: BournemouthRate: £550 £600 per day Inside IR35Contract: Freelance 3 monthsSite Requirement: 2 3 days per weekGanymede Solutions are currently working with a leading contractor within the UK water sector who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with 2x freelance Quantity Surveyors / Senior Quantity Surveyors on a Water Treatment Works project in Bournemouth.The requirement is initially for 3 months, with the successful candidates joining the project during its final stages to support with commercial management and project close-out.The Role As Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management and close-out of a range of Civils and MEICA packages.Key responsibilities will include: NEC3 subcontract managementPayment assessments and subcontractor managementFinal account negotiations and commercial close-outDisallowed cost negotiationPricing and management of Compensation EventsForecasting and cost management across labour, plant and materialsCommercial management of Civils and/or MEICA packagesSupporting packages including surfacing, final pipework installation, MEICA installation and commissioning activities About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Strong Quantity Surveying experience within infrastructure or utilitiesGood working knowledge of NEC3 contractsExperience managing and closing out subcontract packagesExperience negotiating final ..... full job details .....
