Senior Quantity Surveyor - Freelance

Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor £8m Commercial Refurbishment 12-Month Contract Site Based A Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager is required to take commercial ownership of an £8m commercial refurbishment project, covering both pre-construction and the live construction phase. This is not a pure office fit-out role. The project includes externals, roofing, façades, refurbishment, internals and CAT A office fit-out, so strong general construction knowledge is essential. The Role Review the design and refurbishment requirements and develop the scope and initial costs Take the project from pre-construction into delivery, managing the commercials throughout Prepare tender packages, assess subcontractor costs and recommend appointments Manage POs, subcontractor accounts, variations and monthly valuations Review and manage the main contract and provide commercial reporting Work closely with the Project Manager and site team on a daily basis Requirements Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager experience Strong construction and refurbishment background Experience across externals, roofing and façades DandB commercial office / CAT A fit-out experience Able to work fully site-based and take ownership of the commercial ..... full job details .....
