JE153: Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: North/West London Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 Per annumOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities: Provision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels to inform Group reportingProvision of accurate cash flow reportingCost management and project forecastingDrafting and updating a monthly CVR, cost and commercial plansCompile upstream applications for payment and cash managementResponsibility for subcontract procurement, negotiation and financial accountingPreparation of project applications for payment to final account settlementLiaison with clients, client representatives and other third parties on commercial issues, including agreement on matters relating to contractual change, claims and additional paymentWork with the wider project team to forecast predicted expenditure and cash recovery to ensure that both are in line with business unit expectationShare best practices with others and take a proactive approach in advising site teams on cost management and efficienciesIdentification and realisation of commercial opportunitiesSupport all internal commercial processes by ensuring adherence to timeframes and complianceActively seek to improve processes and procedures Skills ..... full job details .....
