Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

Bennett & Game are proud to be working with a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor who specialise in delivering infrastructure works for residential developments, including roads, sewers, and plot groundworks. In addition, the business has recently expanded with the creation of a demolition and remediation division, further strengthening their capabilities and market presence.

The commercial team currently consists of six, including a number of junior staff, and due to ongoing growth and internal restructuring, they are now seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor and/or Senior Estimator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, expanding contractor at a pivotal time, with the chance to take on a key role and contribute directly to the future success of the company.

Role & Responsibilities

Senior Quantity Surveyor:

• Account management and cost value reconciliation
• Labour-only payments
• Valuations and variations (both general and major)
• Control of construction drawings
• Procurement and management of specialist subcontract packages

Senior Estimator:

• Preparation of tender submissions and negotiation
• Take-offs (with support from junior staff)
• Preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQs)
• Project handovers
• Management of major variations

Package:

• Salary: -75,000 - -85,000
